My Sub Build (Ongoing)

Upper carpet on the interior rear deck, or the carpet that covers the rear deck from the trunk? I removed my lid liner and put Dynamat under it. The only rattles from my trunk area are the trunk vents that I can here. Also put Dynamat on the back of my license plate as well. Don't really have a noise issue anywhere. Finishing this up this afternoon!

Sorry, I meant the upper carpet on the inside of the trunk. I removed the rear parcel shelf to test it out a while ago, and things still rattled the same way. :(

Welp, it's finished, and I'm glad that I took my time during this revision. Sounds so much nicer and it really pounds now. Managed to gain a couple inches back in trunk and the only visible wire is the speaker wire. opted out of the "beauty board" considering I may be forced to take this thing out at some point. I upgraded my cables and wires to those from KnuKonceptz.com and I would recommend anyone to take a look at their products if you decide to do a similar install. Links are posted below. Lastly, huge thanks to my brothers for their assistance, makes stuff like this much easier!

Go big or stay home, looks real nice!

Solid box right there. Any reason for the double front baffle other than to counter sink the woofer?

That is the only reason. I like the recessed look and getting that out of a single board of 3/4" MDF wouldn't work. I wasn't buying a whole sheet of thicker stuff to get the look I was going for. Only hiccups was the driver hole was cut a half inch too small and when I got home I had to abuse the Dremel which barely works on this stuff.
