The car you all helped me to decide to buy in my '95 vs. '97 thread is finally respectable enough to post pics of, so here it is!
I bought a coil conversion and brought my car up to Jamie, I drove it 60 miles on pancaked air-ride. Jamie ended up cutting the old front struts (I mean shocks, right Laser?) off because they were so f*cked up, he kicked ass though, and gave me a hell of a deal. I ended up driving home with working brake lights, a fuse cover that was missing, 4 new tires, all in addition to the spring conversion install, and spending a fun afternoon watching Jamie learn to hate my car. I did end up leaving disappointed, though. As it turns out, Jamie is jealous of the size of my lower horn, so he refused to let me borrow his big tymers CD and also was in such a piss-poor mood from jealous rage that he hammered my strut bolt out of his vice so hard, in his anger, that it launched across the room and hit me in the sack. It was worth it though. We met a retarded dophin from the shop next door, and in the end made up.
I still need to detail it, and finish putting the interior together. I have a lot of work to do on the car, but it's a good base for a fun project, and that's what cars are to me; Fun.
