Ken has the parts shipped directly from Ford... But mine came from "five star ford" which we all know is Max in Arizona.

Team Ford is in California, so ken probably used that dealer since it is closer to you, and the parts has less distance to travel to you as opposed to traveling to me. Sucks for me... lol

And one more thing... HURRY UP WITH THOSE LIGHTS! lol

Yeah good point, didn't think about the shipping.

I almost cut on the clear part.lol. Did you leave the screws functional or no? I sealed the light earlier before i left. The screws helped a lot!!!! My dad took my heat gun so I was just pulling it out by force. I was really careful as doing it really slow to not break it. Once i pulled it past the length I needed I was able to pull the needed, shorter length with confidence knowing it wouldn't break. I made a hole on each side of the flat plastic piece where I cut and screwed on a little matel plate to hold it open. It would twist to the sides and not stay straight so I use some quicksteel around the plate and plastic piece to keep it straight. It worked out great. I layed the headlight down and put the rings on top of the benzel and just put the all pupose adhesive around it. The lip on the big ring help a lot, I applied a small amount of adhesive on the big benzel ring and layed the angel eyes ring over it. The lip layed on their perfectly. I placed the small ring behind the benzel because it was easier to aplly to adhesive from there and it was still equally visible, I couldn't tell if yours was in front but I thought it was.

I didn't like the chrome wheels so I picked up the silver sport rims for 125 for the set of craigslist until I could save up for some bigger sexy rims.

Andrizzle. You should re do the big ring on yours and spread them apart. Check it out, it looks great, fits more in place.

that angel eye install is awesome, i'll have to do that when I install mine, i like the bigger ring...looks great
 
Damn alax. U kicked my ass on this one. That larger rings looks great.

If I ever have to open my lights again I will do this for sure. But right now I am glad they r sealed. It took so long to finally seal out the water once and for all.

Looks great man finish the other and mount those bad boys. I'm pisst now lol.
 
Lol. Thanks man. I hope mine are seal good. I dont want to have to tear into them just to reseal it up.

WOW, that has come out really nice. I know where I am going after I decide to replace my angel eyes with the led ones.
 
I really like the white on black look. Not a huge fan of the angel eyes but they look really good in your housing. keep it up LS is looking great

Just tell me a price and where to purchase the rings and the light will be in the mail asap, lol. Very nice work though man. I got the same 06 front bumper too but I'm going to put mine on when I have the whole car painted which will probably be late summer. But I really want the angel eyes though.
 
Putting adhesive on the second set of rings right now. Just waiting for the quicksteel to dry so it holds the ring open and straight.

Angel eyes are done! They are super super bright. I'll start a new thread for them and some more details. I think they would look better with the eyebrows. Sorry pete, it was calling my name and I answered the call :cool:


I told LeaSr77 100. You just need to buy the rings and ship the headlighst to me and shipping back, I'll provide the rest, tubes of adhesive for sealing, materials to hold open, labor.

I forgot to take some daytime pics. My camera doesn't have adjustable settings to be able to take pictures of the rings at night, they're so bright. It rained this more on my way to school. No water inside or the lens getting fogy. I think the all purpose adhesive worked good.

Was up until the day I was picking up the rear and lost my job.. Right now its just sitting in the air. I can never make up my mind with this car. Like right now, my buddy is trying to sell me a Ford 9in because I showed him that LS-R. Sure I could have a shop fab that in there but for what $XXXX.XX dollars maybe more? The bearing kit for a stock rebuild is $130, the Gen1 rear sans LSD is $250, plus $100-200 for a 8.8 LSD, then rebuild kit.. Ugh, this is why I was a Chevy guy, they stick with the same parts and use them for everything, Ford always has to over engineer everything.. :mad: Sorry for the rant and maybe, someday, my car will move again.. Until that day, Im gonna jerk off to your LS :eek:
