Frogman, I've got real bad news. It seems that some of Vladimir Putin's former KGB cronies got wind of our deal. All I can figure is they somehow intercepted AND broke our Morse code. Anyway, they not only stole the two cases of red Muffler Bearings, but they painted them a bright metallic pink making it virtually impossible to track them down. My case officers' latest transmission indicates one case is headed for Iran and the other to North Korea. It appears they will be using them to help silence their latest flashlight battery powered midget submarines piloted by actual midgets. Remember, should this leak out, it could cause a national security nightmare. So mums the word, especially since I already traded my best ( and only ) camel for them. Will keep you posted. It's a sad day for our country. Wait. Wait. ..... Just got an urgent memo. It seems all is not lost. Our case officer in the field offered the Russians two Caddilacs in return for our Muffler Bearings. They originally requested two Mark VIIIs' but we negoiated them down to Cadillacs. Hey after you get those bearing can u grab me some fluid for my rear view mirror it low. ohh!!!! and some bulbs for my front tail lights.

Ironically the rear view mirrors, both center and driver, do contain fluid for the auto-dimming feature....

As for bearings, only get floating magnetic bearings - ZERO resistance.

Was reading the latest Automotive News today. It seems that because of Chrysler having a patent on Muffler Bearings, General Motors is in negotiations to buy them. That and the needed 10-13 Billion dollars cash infusion from Chrysler. GM needs to stay out of Junk Bond status and closing its' doors forever.... Can Muffler Bearings singlehandedly save the US automotive industry? Maybe a few old Marks anyway. Gary in Elmira, NY.
