Mothers' HRPT

Last year was a lot of fun, but I just couldn't swing it this year. Have a good time and take a lot of pics!

Today is the day where thousands of cars come to Chattanooga State college. It's been a very nice mid-morning so far. Very warm, patchy clouds, little to no chance of rain. Former SEMA president and owner of Coker Tire here in Chattanooga says there may be as many as 3500-5000 cars coming.

Took some mid morning shots as the rest of the Power Tour caravan is still a hundred miles out. But we also have the early birds in for the prime parking spots.

Remember to click the photo if you want to see it larger. Enjoy the pic everyone....

I hate you
I so miss HRPT now those are some of my favorite vacations even last year with my ticket of 99 in a 65.
Thanks for the pics though keep them comming

Luke, my wife and I did one leg of the tour back in 2010. Our work schedule conflicted with the tour dates for the most part but we had a great time and can't wait to do it again.

Well, this Tour stop turned out to be one of the most weather friendly so far. Everyone I've met there were very nice and seem to be enjoying their time. Most everyone who had their cars there encouraged other hot rod photographers to take pics of their cars. I had fun taking them.

The Hot Rod Tour represented quite a few auto manufacturers but there was an absence of the Lincoln brand. Most represented this year is Chevr*let.

There were so many cars there, I was able to take only a fraction of all participants. Hope you all enjoy looking at these photos 'cause I had a great time shooting them for your entertainment! Here are the rest of the pics,

enjoy......

Thank you I love me some nice pics
I'm still jealous
I need to go to a car show Now.

So which car did you drive there? I'd love to see some shots of the mark amongst the caravan of cars on the road if possible.

I would have loved to drive with the caravan but the Tour stop was at the local college only 3 miles from home and I got there long before the caravan did.:( Hey maybe we can get a few LvC'ers to join the caravan next year even for just one leg of the tour. That would be nice.

I did spot a Gen1 MarkVIII (not mine) among the Hot Rod spectator parking lots.

Some friends of mine did his years ago. Never really floated my boat but I'm definitely jealous of all the pics your able to take!

So far our Main Street Friday Cruise has started in Somerville and although I didn't go last Friday I was told they had a 53 car showing. Not bad for a first cruise. I went the week before and did catch a Maclaren doing some drive throughs :)

This rolling car show is such a nice break from the long winter.

ahhh, I found another roll of film......
