Well, if you remember where Nic's place is, Im about 5 miles driving distance closer.

Just add in my address into google maps and get directions from your hotel and check it out, Im guessing about 30 Mins
 
Wow Tyler, you live literally 10 houses down from the house my buddy lived in for a few years. I'm actually suprised you never saw my LS driving around there, I drove past your house all the time :D

Back to business. I drove over to Elm Creek Park yesterday to check out the facilities. First off, there is no charge to get in the park. And there is a man made swimming pond, but it is mostly taken over by 12 yr olds. And there is a huge parking lot if the other two are full. Of the two parking lots I have circled, the top one will probably work best. Lots of spots and trees for a nice backdrop. And if people want, there are bbq pits there. ALSO, if anyone likes disc golf, they have a pretty new course to play on. Looks fairly large and costs $3.

I think we need to avoid Lake Calhoun. Waaaaaay too busy on a nice saturday and with all the construction and other things going on out there it would be more headache and hassle than fun.

How long ago was it when your friend lived over here? I never paid attention to LS's until I got mine, then a new world opened up to me :D
 
That was probably about a year ago when he moved out. Was there for 3 years I think. He had a green 95 camaro with rims on it. He is a cop, maybe you knew about that?

So what about my latest greatest plan? Sound good?
 
Green camaro.... never seen one of those lol there was a 69 Mustang Boss 302 like 3 houses down, but a cop? The only one that I know of around here thats a cop would be Jerry and he died a few years back... can you point him out on the map where his house was?

As for the plan, It sounds good, Meet at my house, move on to elm creek from there?

Ahh, yeah thats why I dont now him, my friend might, Kurt, he has the Caprice, hes like half way down that street. Im trying to get him to come with us

Yeah, my girl's coming too. We're going to Rock the Boat on Harriet Island on Friday night. Staying in downtown St. Paul, then coming up to the meet on the way home.

Dammit I can't make it.
This summer just blows for me.
I have a couple of friends lined up to try to finish this stupid house.
Its is owning me big time.
I want it on the market to try to catch the 8K tax write off.
Next time I'm there.
We should set reg. dates for spring and summer or fall.
Make it an annual thing what do you guys think?
 
Sounds like a good idea. Now you guys can see my new Ford Ranger!! 2WD V6 White company truck! Now my winter vehicle :D Looks like the LS is going to be stored in the winter :D
 
I would come over from Wisconsin, but I am doing some stuff to my house this weekend that has to get done, plus I HAVE to put my stereo in. Listening to FM radio is killing me after listening to satellite radio for over four years.

I won't know if I can make it until Friday evening. Will post an update then. I would like to meet some other LS owners so I will do my best to get there.
