I think maybe we should make it at Andrews Park here in Champlin, and drive down to Calhoun again :D

man i dont even think im gona be able to make it:mad: i gota work. i've been trying to get the night before off but there a bunch of :q:q:q:q:q:q:qs . were working seven days aweek till labor day it sounds
 
Yeah I did too. You sure you can't blow off work for a couple hours and come out? I talked with Paul (xtcmeLS) and he is still coming. He said he might know of a place we can meet at, but needs to confirm it before he puts it out there.

I drove out to lake calhoun on saturday around 2 (which is roughly the time we would be out there if we go) and the whole area was packed! The first parking lot we met in is still good. There was a lot of cars in there but definitely room for us to get together. And that last parking lot on the lake (the one we all lined up in a row with the lake behind us), that one had room too.

I'm also thinking elm creek park in osseo/champlin. There is a lot of trees and scenery there as well as decent parking lots and bbq pits. I don't know how busy that gets, but its an option.

Elm creek is good and close :D

I went out there for the first meet to check it out. Lots of good spots in the grass we could quickly hijack and leave before we get yelled at :D
 
maybe i will come, ill try at least i got to get the :q:q:q:q outa corn country for a wile any way. I dont get out of here till 7:30, 8 o'clock am and a quick wash for me an a shine for the car an i'll be on my way. can i get a landmark for my gps?
 
So you guys want to just meet at Elm Creek? Or should we go to Nics or my house and go from there?

That first photo, under "hybrid" on 109th, Im 1/4 from that road north.

My parents will be gone this weekend so parking shouldn't be a problem. And I got a grill :D, 2 actually... Gas and Charcoal.
 
There is a beach at Elm Creek somewhere, I have not been to it myself, but I have friends that go there.
 
Ok, since there really isn't anything going on with input, I'll just say this.

We can hang out, and make some food on the grill or whatever you guys want. Then we can cruise over to elm creek take some pics or whatever over there, then maybe take a cruise down to calhoun?
 
how far is champlin from downtown st paul? That's where I'll be coming from.
