How is the 32 valve 4.6 in the Mark VIII different from the 4.6 32V in the Aviator?

The Aviator has C heads, and a different intake manifold, and the Marks have B heads and a different intake manifold.

302hp and 300 ft/lbs if I'm not mistaken.

I'm pretty sure they are 305hp like the 96-98 Cobra.

I looked at a couple before buying my Explorer. You can't get the Aviator in a dark colored interior so I went with the Explorer Limited. Would have be nice to have that DOHC 4.6 though!

Pretty much yes.

Intakes and exhaust manifolds are different.
