I was asked to make an official Mark VIII 1/4 or 1/8 mile Thread

This thread is dedicated to LvC members accomplishments at the track.

This thread is for only posting times:

Please post pics of your timeslips whenever possible or list all the
times and mph on the slip.


Please do not just post times if you do not have all of the times to
back up your run.


Please list your mods at the time of the run.

Members should refrain from posting comments which include post
like wow, nice, cool, etc... or any criticism.


If you wish to have discussion on a members run, please contact them through a PM or do this in a separate thread. I want to keep this thread to the posting of times. Think of this as a LvC trophy case.

I hope its allright to post this as my car was 100% stock and no mods when i made these runs, if not feel free to wax it.


1997 Mark VIII - 1/2 tank, spare tire/jack, spare belt & breaker bar in the trunk, 58,125 miles, entirely stock with new motorcraft plugs + fuel filter on kuhmo ecsta tires. Easy on the first run as it was my first time on the track with it, second time i gave it the go. I've got pic of the slips at the house.

Boss 5.0 Modular block, forged and stroked to 5.3L. Stock intake on ported heads with custom cams. All motor, no power adders, with almost every bolt-on you can think of. ;)
