htrdlincoln98.... welded your irmc's open? hmmm.... do you daily drive it? or......just drag it? whats the pro's and con's to doing this?

also...some said that the speed limiter slowed them or something? I have a 98 and I've had her all the way to 140 (it was pretty scary) don't plan on doing it again either...just wanted to "See what she'll do" :D

It's a driver not daily but no trailer queen. I wouldn't recommend tampering with the irmc's I don't think it helps if any thing it hurts. THe speed limiter issue is a Sniper tune problem. Before the sniper I Had the normal 135 or 140MPH limiter. Now even if I go back to my stock original tune 110 is all it will let me turn. What a bummer right!! I can hit that in just over 1000' on the juice.

Cobrastar this was on the 125 shot. used in first gear not launched.
If you running 13.6 N/A you got me beat. All I got was 14.19 N/A. But I'd still thow some money on me at the track. HAHA

This is my very first time to drive down the track So the reaction times suck.
I took the 98 lsc down as far as I know it's stock , but the trans shifts hard , like some one put a kit in or....
Heres my slips.

Definitely should be a sticky, and some mod should organize all the times (if they got time) lol...

My 1994 Lincoln Mark VIII times:

OFF BOTTLE

13.2 @ 106mph on a 2.0 60'

(I went to spray it, but the N20 solenoid didn't open causing it to BOG off the line. So I ran the rest of the pass on motor.)

On bottle it should go DEEP 11s
