Just happened to go with a friend of mine to a big pull'n'pay junkyard today... and during my search I found a '94 Mark Viii... Midnight Opal... black interior... and a perfect dog house on it.. besides a broken grille.

But the best part....

The headlights!!

They must have been BRAND NEW!!! Chrome inside was PERFECT!!!! Lenses were crystal clear!!! I swear this car couldnt have been in there long because it had the recall harness on the mastercylinder.

Pulled off the headlights and paid $80 for them.... wow... Maybe that was a sign and my luck is about to turn around on my poor car...

All I did to these lights when I got home was clean them off and put a coat of meguirs NXT wax on them.

OH GOD BE MY HERO AND SELL THEM TO MEE =[ =[ =[ =[!!! i have been looking for a decent pair of headlights for MONTHS AND MONTHS and i found one that is all rusted

Dude... if you saw my car right now you would know how bad I needed this...

Just send Jamie your old ones and some cash...

i asked jamie if he had any, he does not. but my headlights are toast they were sprayed with brake cleaner.

If they are toast, send them to him along with $100 and they will come back looking like what you see here in these pics. Just drive something else until you get them back and then get an HID kit and you're set.

I'll be doing Double HID's in these housings... I NEVER want to have to buy another set.

If you slowly worked your way up to 2000 grit sandpaper wetsanding them, they should turn out, then buff them with a car buffer and wax them.

i restore headlights like the ones above, inside and out, i can make them look like the ones above. i've done about 3 dozen pairs in the last few years, i have 3 sets to do now. by the way nice score for 80 bucks, they do look brand new. sounds like you might be in luck fixing your mark.

that is definitely a hard find anymore. Hopefully you'll have the mark back on the road soon.
