Ls with a SCT tune

I just bought an v8 ls and was thinking about putting a tune in it. does anyone have one? how do you like it and does it really give you more power. i know when added to a mustang they get a lot more power. but this is a completely different car. also, anyone have track times before and after a tune? thanks
 
Remember that the SEARCH and TECH ARTICLES at the top of the page are your friend.

Yes many of us have custom tune, and has been well documented, try SEARCH.
 
Biggest change you'll notice is the trans shifting. It's not going to make your LS into a tire fryer if that's what you might be thinking.
 
so it loads through the stereo? what if you do not have casette?
 
got it! Last time I did that I got blinker fluid all over the garage floor and ruined a good set of hub caps.

Will this tune make my window tint darker?

you should stop using CD's, I now use an Ipod, now that i have over 12,000 tunes loaded on it, its so easy, a caveman could do it
 
ok - now you lost me. is it for my windows or does it heat up the tires?

If you get a handheld tuner with onboard adjustments you can adjust the level of tint.

Wow this site has been going down more and more, I think The LS is pretty much done. Time to move on.
