Damn, that is the second person that happened to lately. What are some people thinking? Gang related or someone that just doesn't like? Sorry for you troubles.

I dont know why i was targeted. I just work and go to school, mostly keep to myself and i go out every now and then.

That sucks. It must have been some HATERS!!! They are everywhere and will always be around. I had my old vehicle get keyed 3 days after i got it out of the paint shop. Spent $3500 getting it painted a custom Kandy Kolor. Luckily my insurance company paid to have the vehicle resprayed the custom color. I went to the club and came out to a keyed up vehicle. Hopefully a shop can do something to help you.

Man. What kind of person. If I had an issue with somebody, I would damage them before I would their car. It just isn't done as far as I'm concerned.

I wonder what the insurance company will do. The thing is i go back to school on tuesday and they painted right over the headlights and keyed them. I am def not driving it to school looking like that.

i say part it out.... really though, thats sucks. hope it gets straightened out. insurance cover it?

It is your insurance that will pay (if you have full coverage). You'll have to pay whatever deductible that you have, and you'll get a paid for rental during the repair only if you have that option on your policy. (Some body shops will provide a free loaner.)
You'll have to file a police report and get estimates for the damages.

are you kidding me? this is the second one now in a few months. People are dumb. Hope everything works out good for you and it gets fixed right.

clay bar...wouldnt hurt to try

thinking that aswell. it may just be the pictures but the paint looks really light like it could be the spray paint that you can in fact wash off with a pressure washer because it is made to be washable.

I work for the phone company and we have graffitti remover that comes in an aerosol can. I think the brand is rainbow. Anyway I found out basically by accident that the stuff takes overspray or paint applied by contact off of a vehicle really well. It doesnt hurt the vehicle finish, but I wouldnt let it touch anything that wasnt painted. Maybe something like that would work?

if u can, take the free paint job ( - deductible ). You could then have them paint the "side skirt" pieces and chrome on the grill.

Ive used nevrdull to remove overspray before, not sure about using it on the cars finish, but it works well on other stuff.

Sucks, but It's no big deal. Just wipe it off with a rag soaked in lacquer thinner. Don't get the rag so wet it runs off the rag. It won't hurt factory paint or cured catalized refinish paint. If the rag starts to drag or the paint feels, stop. Eurothane is more durable than people give it credit for. Don't do the headlights or tailight and use caution around the trim. A light polish and wax after cleaning will leave it looking great.

Uhhhhh... wtf?

Why are people's LSes getting vandalized?

BTW, insurance will prob investigate it for fraud. These things are easy to fake.

While this is true, if you have comprehensive coverage on your policy, it may be worth paying the deductible and getting it repainted. That comprehensive coverage is rolled into your premium, and your paying for it every month/6 months/year. If your not sure if you have comprehensive coverage on your policy, look into it.

I have always had good results with clay when getting overspray and stuff like that off a cars finish, somethings gotta take it off it just looks like some cheap spray paint.
