Look What I Just Bought

I'm gonna do a 4.5'' hub swap soon...how would these look on my Mark?

edit: SOLD
I bet these went quick

24mm offset 9" wide wheel is less than ideal fitment. They will protrude past he body lines a lot.
Even 26mm offset 17x9 wheels don't look right especially at regular ride height. I had some 03 Cobras machined to make them look better in the past.

It doesn't sound like a lot (36mm vs 24mm) but it does make a difference when on the car.

1/4 panel lips will interfere with almost any tire size, but it all depends on the rear shock choice as well. Will then tuck when lowered ? NO. Unless it's a 235/50 tire ... maybe.

Still a good price price for these wheels I guess. You can always machine then 4-5mm depending on the hub design.

Typo on the seller. The offset is +36, and not +24. Strange how nobody can find these wheels. The manufacturer Rev-Wheels has them, but will only sell to distributors, which is Supercoupe performance.

Consider yourself lucky.

Beautiful..so they are essentially the exact wheel as your last set of speedstars from your other sig pic, just in black..BTW what happened to those wheels?

I sold those wheels to another Mark owner, I guess who only lurks here. He happened to be in Texas, so they didn't go far, and since my asking price was met, why not? When I came across these, I had to get them. Incidentially if anyone is interested, he is selling another set, and there is a bid already. I guess someone got wise. :shifty:

i thought we were talking Cobra wheels, not Cobra R wheels.
but yes, i suppose they do exist. but they won't come cheap if you can find a set. corral has some occasionally.

why did I buy a second mark VIII?
why do I need different rims?
why do I need fat tires?
oh yeah...they look cool, duh
