look what I found on craigslist

The exhaust should work on either Gen. The only thing is the tips, you would have to cut your bumpers to fit just right.

Yeah, don't see why you couldn't fit that exhaust to a first gen non LSC. I was hoping Jamie97lsc was gonna part an LSC while I was still in Florida, for the purpose of an easy bolt on for my 93.

Hey, my edit did not go through! Anyway I was going to say the only issue you may have is with the tips/cutouts.

Whats so special about that exhaust?

You could get an aftermarket one for about that, right?

Stainless dual for $500 with mufflers? Doubt it. $500 is pretty dang cheap.

ahh missed the stainless, are all the factory exhausts stainless?

409.... pretty much mild steel...

That exhaust would fit fine on either gens, but why pay $500 for stock exhaust??

i had 2.5 I.D custom bent exhaust done at a shop in largo on my 98, duals with bullets and stock tips put back on for $250 out the door. 500 is retarded stainless or not, better be gold not stainless.

That exhaust for 250 was hell of a deal from that Rainbow Muffler (I think it was?) Doubt I could get one made up that cheap...

True that! Lol.

That's ok, I'd send the wife in to do the dirty work for me!

Maybe when I learn to weld, I'll make my own exhaust... Always fancied that idea. Pipe dreams ftw!

brandon it wasnt mandrel bent, you can tell if you look again, mandrel leaves 0 dents or kinks at all, also costs 3 times as much. a dent here and there doesnt bother me, its a friggin exhaust, i'm not fine tuning a shuttle for nasa so i could care less, martin knows what it sounded like, it had a killer 50's mercury lead sled sound to it, it was way too loud actually, but i got my point across with it, you couldnt miss the car at all. and good memory martin, it was rainbow muffler!
