But I do know WHERE it is. Highway 24 comming down Ute Pass from Woodland Park to Colorado Springs. People just don't understand that a road that twisty (and well mantained), needs to be used to the fullest.

Hope you don't mind the music, this person was feeling the Hollies would work the best for that drive.

NICE, i love the colorado area. im in norther VA..... the only time it gets that beauteful around here is when u drive 6 hours south... (out of Va LOL)

As much enjoyment as the throttle gives on the open highway, I find the power through the twisties on mountainous secondary roads much more enjoyable. :D

I wish the camera could transmit G-force AND the actual feeling of speed.

Just after high school I lived in Arvada with my Dad for a year. I use to go over to Boulder and up in the mountains. I had a 1969 Corvette 427 4 speed with a 456 gear. It was fun in the mountains. :D:D the sold it and bought a 1976 Ford F250 for work .:rolleyes::rolleyes:

All this is in good fun obviously. But you are welcome here anytime you like. We should have a new home pretty quick so you won't need to sleep on the couch. :D

Pikes peak is......~OK~.

Too busy for good driving, and the road turns to gravel about 3/4 up.

Needless to say, my car won't ever see it. Hell I was just under it with a bucket of soapy water and a scrub brush. It's clean and gonna stay that way.
 
This is what we need to see more of, people enjoying thier cars. All I ever see us Mark owners do is fix stuff and take pics, mods stuff and take pics, then fix it after the mods break something else and take pics, or complain about how we can't afford to fix or mod. This is kewl even if you are a mundane driver........ ;)
