They look exactly like the 2 nd gen lights but the inner light ( on the trunk ) is bigger of course!

I think I know what he is talking about. Those taillights with the red and white area above but I do not think they are Jappannnessee taillights. I think they are something else but LSK stopped selling them for generation 1. I am not sure but I am going to keep drinking my beer. yes - they are japanese - made for the Gen1 LS for that market. When you get them - they actually have japanese writing on the box, ...etc.

Back when they were trying to get the first sets - the set were actually imported, then once they were able to cross the part numbers - I believe they could order them directly.

sorry to break it to you guys but the ls tail lights are pretty plain.... i dont need to defend myself, but I was saying something along those lines would look good....like with clear lenses. IE, the IS300.
