Alright a old thread on the subject on hand ...with my transmission issues I have a new update and of course another diagnoses ...the mech today said I have no second gear ...and the over drive band is malfunctioning yet I can put it in 2 gear SST or (whatever )manually and it shows 2 gear and drives in second gear ..( weird ) anyway what should my RPMs read when I'm doing 65mph or I should ask what does other ppl' read when your doing 65mph? My are around 2300Rpm at 65mph I don't think they should be this high but unsure...he said he heard the torque converter kick in which is really weird because the Check Transmission light goes on at 60mph and at best I'm getting 18 mpg ...I'm sending this car down the road since nobody in my neck of the woods can even give me a straight answer on this transmission light
