Led zeppelin

I can tell you this I'm an 1986 baby and growing up with my older cousins all i heard was Queen and The Doors and I must say till this day I still love their music even though i was so young when i first heard them

When you look up #1 100% HARD rock band there is the pic of Led Zep. I have to admit I never bought a Led Zep album, they were handed down to me from older bro. Being 42 now,I missed Led Zep. I grew up on Robert Plants huge 80's solo album.

Speaking of Queen my favorite tune by them was "Sleepin on the sidewalk" It was off the album that folded out with the huge robot grabin peeps. The "we will rock you " album. I still have it. Weird thing about Sleepin on the sidewalk is it has a totally cooler Gratefull Dead sound to it. My year was 1985 17 and just out of school. Blasting around on my punched out Kawa 1260Z and just getting my first car 1968 4 speed Mercury Cougar. Oh the crazy days and nights. Good times!

Hahaha - my mom still has that album. Yeah, that cover used to really spook me out as a kid. Whenever I see the word android, that album springs to mind.

Edit: I just looked it up. The album with the big robot holding peeps is called News Of The World.

I.m gonna see robby krieger the end of may. He's obviously with a new band. But it should be a good time.

I saw Zep back i "77 at the then Great Western Forum in Inglewood, CA. I was just 17 yrs old and saw Queen the followinf year in Long Beach Sports area, the intro for that show was incredible. Hey what about Black Sabbath with Ozzie. I saw them back then too. The Ramone's opened for them and got booed off stage before the first song even ended. Not the right opening act for Black Sabbath. Those were the days.

After standing at my machine for 20 years and hearing all the rock songs over and over I have switched to rap, hip hop now. My new fav is "To Short". I get to hear alot of new tunes to me now.

I am an 80's air band baby. Thou, I use to be HUGE into Zep and Pink Floyd. Watched Pink Floyd "The Wall" every weekend. Got burned out on it. Rush, Sammy Hagar(Standing Hampton, Three Lock Box), AC/DC, Def Leppard, Van Halen few more of the bands I listen to back then. 1990, I played the crap out of Robert Plant "Now and Zen".

Sammy Hagar, I saw him while I was standing on a chair in the 3rd row, I could see the sweat running down his face, back in 1979. Saw Pink Floyd when they did Animals tour, had giant pig balloon hovering over the stadium. I was a big concert goer back in the day, 1975-94. The best shows seem to be about 75-83. Don't forget Peter Frampton Live, saw him 3 times in one year. How about YES, ELP, The Who. I got to see Van Halen at a small place called the Starwood before they got famous. I started a list sometime ago and I was up to 2 pages with 3 colunms, I like almost everthing Rock, Jazz, R&B, Country, its all good. I do prefer Rock and Roll.
