Just trying to get myself pysched up/I guess but I am going to be busy:

1. Upper control arms L/R Front
2. Outer tie rod ends L/R - I'm already there
3. Driver's side motor mount
4. Oil pan gasket (V6 - wooohoooo!)
5. Hydraulic fan pump actuator

And if all goes well, a good washing and waxing. If not, maybe just a good kick and a trip to the lot. Have told the wife to leave town.

Lowering springs, dial in my front end alignment, replace front brake caliper brackets, wash/wax, start work on HID casper shields.

1. Drink some beer
2. switch to JD (or whatever else the night brings)
3. get into some trouble
4. go to wifes familys hung over
5. sleep

OP, that is a lot of work. Not much time for BBQ!

I have nothin for the LS planned, except a wash on Monday.

Sounds like fun. I plan on getting almost 10 hours of travel in mine. I planned on getting my windshield replaced but the guy we get them from will be up north, (180 installed, very good price from what I have read).

Some brew and the Peach Festival.

I have a 02 with the chrome molding on the bumpers. Thinking of refinishing it and painting it body color to match. Grille too. 2 questions: Where is a good place to get body paint? I have paint code TS. I have seen the paint at Autozone but don't know how well it would match. Also, what does everyone think of painting the black part of the grille body color also? I have been toying with the idea but can't decide.

Take the kids to DisneyWorld.:D

THEN...... Put my LS back together.

rugger33 What upper control arms are you going with (brand)??? I want to install some on mine as well just wondering:)

Deep clean wash and wax for sure. I haven't waxed my car in probably two months. :(

I was hoping my rear lateral bars would have showed up in time.

manoli - motorcraft; picked some up on Ebay a couple of years ago. Been sitting in my garage waiting for tomorrow!

today was a full bleed and service of power steering system, new high pressure hose, reservoir, and pump, tomorrow will be fuel filter, and spark plugs (v6)

Hopefully PCV elbow and valve. We will see what the weather brings though, supposed to be rain.

Is it necessary/recommended to replace both upper control arms at once? I've got a thump from the passenger side and just by looking at the various boots and connections it looks like the UCA ball joint is bad. I'll do both sides if recommended but don't want to spend too much of my bouns on repairs.

n8 - not sure you need to both at same time; just had them so I did them.

I finished all but #4 on my list. Next oil change maybe. I am beat to hell!! I didn't wax it or kick it so I guess it was a draw...

Here is what I did. I will get to the bumper chrome over the next few weekends.
