Front of the car sounds like bowling balls over bumps...you guys have any ideas...Also when I step on gas after letting my foot off for a second the car does not accelerate. There is a 2 second lag sometimes but when I reapply my foot again it wakes up....Does not happen a lot but randomly occurs...any ideas..2005 v8 Lincoln ls 108500 miles.

Your acceleration issue is mostly due to not having a throttle cable, so the lag is the pedal senor telling the car to go. The knocking could be shocks, ball joints, swaybar bushing/end links. Get it in the air and investigate, get your hands dirty, and report back.

I had those stutter moments, thought it was just a trait of drive by wire until I cleaned my throttle body.

It's probably your coils though, especially if you haven't replaced them.

Yup, old sway bar bushings, thump on the bumps.

I second the "... Thumps on the Bumps" = Sway Bar Bushings (replacement).

I have the parts already, but it's still on my :p "TO DO LIST". :p
 Check & Verify the Diameter Size for your year/model LINCOLN LS Before Ordering...
