Kansas Missouri Arkansas Nebraska come to Hooters for the first cruise of spring!!!!

So I am stuck. My lovely (sarcasim) Mark 8 is acting up. It feels like it is missing. I took out off of the coil on packs and spark plugs and cleaned them. My friend did a test on the fuel injectors and they were all working right. Any ideas? This is really pissing me off.

I'm a Gen1 guy so I have plugs and wires. Are any of the boots bad, I've read that will causes a miss.

Kyle, did you fix your valve cover leak? Oil getting down in there can cause it to short out the COP.

Also, did you try swapping around the coils to see if the problem changes cyl?

Andrew came over today and he switched the coils for cylinder 5 and 8. After that it threw the codes for cylinder 4 and 5...:confused:

I have all my cops from when I first got the car. Ill try them and see what happens.

And no on the valve cover. Ill replace that when it is warmer out.

I'd say you better finally get those parts installed that have been sitting in your trunk for over a year. That way come march you can show off your shinny new parts. :D

Sucks other Andrew(not Hill) flaked out with his Mark VIII, that was a bad ass build and would have been neat to bring.

I have to have the money first. Also I would like to get the huge dent on my front passenger fender fixed too. IM NOT GOING WITH 4.10S!!!!!!

Im going to go with 4.30s....:D JK! Im thinking 3.73s. But that is all when I have the money for it.
 
Good job man. I wanted to do this but was too afraid. I hope the guy from shawnee gets that second gen goin good enough to come to the meet.
 
I worked on my car yesterday. I found the bad C.O.P. but still have another one that is missing. Guess I get to work on my car in the snow!
 
Glad I got mine out of the body shop and in the garage! Were in the 6-8" zone! Let it pile up, I got the gf's Nissan to play with :) Although front wheel drive sucks big time, I'll do it all in reverse :D!
 
My second car is a 95 Nissan 240SX. It also has almost bald tires on the back. I already had some fun tonight. Looking foward to more "fun" later...
 
I almost got hit three times today and almost lost it the last time. Drivin this car makes me crazy!

That's chump change. Try having 193,000 with all the original drivetrain. It will be 194,000 by the time we all meet up.:cool:
