Well, today after work I hand-washed the Mark and realized that slowly but surely the car has decided to eat itself from the inside out. Living in the mid-west is horrible on any car. The years of bad winters and roadsalt have taken a toll on it.

Sadly, the car only has 127,xxx miles on the clock but what can I do. It's not worth putting money into body repairs. I've been tossing around the idea of getting rid of the car for awhile now but I don't know if I'll be able to afford to do so or not. I may just have to drive it until the wheels fall off, literally!

A sad realization but a realization at that!

Drives side has rust and bubbling paint on the rocker in front of the rear wheel, the passenger has the same as well as a hole rusted through the rocker behind the front wheel.

Thats a bummer mang. One good thing (only one I can find) about Texas is the cars stay rust free.

I know what will fix it!!! Some chrome wheels im going to bring down to you in a few weeks.

I'm still working on the 96, so I won't be Markless, and those wheels are going on the 96, my other spokes are on it now. Give me a call and let me know when and I'll just meet up with you.

It is almost time for you to pay the family a visit isn't it?

I might however have a switch for sale, when or if I get rid of the 97. It is slightly customized with some extra controls!

now I feel kind of bad for taking swings with a metal rod at my completely rust free parts car car :(

why would you hit that car and you with rust fix it now and under coat it youll be ok i did a 5.0 3 years ago and it still dont have rust and im in mich

so in other words... youre a quitter!! ..how bout quit cryin all over our forums and learn to fix rust spots!!!!big baby

and im betting not one person would feel bad for taking swings at YOU with a steel rod, whats in your brain anyway?!?!?!?!

No rust for me. Mine sits 95% of the time. It sure does get dirty though! Looks polka dotted right now, Dang Birds!

i have the portafino blue.. and Laser lives on a white rock road.. he got a white car...CHEATER!!!!
Mine is very hard to keep clean lookin, and now theres polen flying around everywhere too

Well Laser called it portabella blue... I guess it's Nordic...whatever
no rust on it... So that's a plus... Only some angry woman banged her Honda Odys door into a couple times ( thanks MOM!!)
then my step-dad washed it with an Emory cloth.... Not sure what their goal was with the car

Well to add insult to injury, today I notice that the clearcoat is wearing thin on the passenger side C-pillar, but that's the only spot that I can see.

You'd probably cry yourself a little river if you had my paint... So... Start parting out your car... I'll take the motor

Was no Portofino blue in 93. Yours looks Nordic, like mine. (color code DF)
Yeah Laser is an idiot and told him that was its color. I didnt know as I dont like Gen1's :D

*ducks to miss a flying shoe*

I was kidding!

What are you gonna do with that torch?

*runs away screaming*
