Yeah its no big deal and they are both dirty but I really love meeting a fellow Mark owner. So here I was at work taking a nap and I hear someone come it. So I wake up and go see why my nap time is being disturbed. Theres a dude there asking if someone in here owns the white Mark VIII out front with the LVC sticker on it. Turns out hes a Mark fan himself and when he saw the car he had to stop. Happened to be the same dude I was talking about chasing down last week but lost him. He has a very nice 93 that he is restoring to its former glory. Nice car and hes making good progress, I even offered him some parts for it.

Unfortunatly I forgot his screen name and apparently miss entered his number into my phone so hopefully he will see this and respond. :lol:
Names Jeremy and hes a cool dude. We ended up talking story for a couple hours.

Always nice to meet another Mark owner. :)

And my 98 had somebopdy to sit with too. :D

e got the car from his father and it was pretty beat down. Original plugs and all. He thought it was a POS untill he started to play with it a bit and then did some research on it. After he discoverd its power when running right he was hooked..... just like the rest of us hopless idiots. :lol:

Just found his number so hopefully he will text me back his screen name soon. :)
 
How does one get an LVC sticker? I see hand full of Marks on the road around the Phoenix area and would like to point people to this site. It has been a God send since I found it. I saw the sticker on a white 97 that I went to test drive at a dealer here in the valley about a year ago. Before I found my 93 on ebay.
 
You can buy them or you get them for free when you get a gold membership. Look at teh home page.

I saw a sensor lowered gen 2 the other day with a younger guy driving it, I think it was green

Well you live in Springs and haven't met 94m5 the maker of the 5 speed manual Mark VIII. What's wrong with you ... he lives in Springs too...

But you better be at the Beach Party in July then you'll meet a lot of Mark VIII enthusiast..

I know. Spoke to him a couple times, and have stopped into his work...which of course he is off everytime. :lol:

I do payday loans but we are currently not doing loans while the investers run their audit. I also didnt have anyone due today so it was a boring ass day. I also forgot to bring my RC heli to work so I couldnt even play with that.

Hell my boss was so bored at the other store he sent me links to a gaming account. :lol:

I see 3 or 4 all the time out in the East Valley. One guy I talk to all the time when I see him at the QT in East Mesa. In fact I saw one today up in the PV area coming out of Shadow Mountain High School. There are a couple of Gen 1's out there that are the same color as mine but they have the gray interior not the cool black like me. Is the meet at the Scottsdale Pavilions still happening? Maybe more will pop up there.
 
This is why Marvin (02LS8Lincoln) is more depsrerate than I am for me to fix the transmission on my 93. Both my Mark VIII's are not driveable at the moment so I can't enjoy a good car show with Marvin & his GenII. Hopefully my 93 will be running in a couple months!
