interesting kit

$6k for a KB swap - wow - that's on top of already being supercharged.

Twin screw superchargers are the :q:q:q:q.

What are some of the changes that you would need to drop that in a LS?

the only reason to do it to a LS is because you have already supercharged it and need more boost than the current supercharger can give you. At that point - you have have already implemented stronger internals, because the stock engine cannot handle what the root can throw at it now..... retro fitting it would be a lot of matching - intake to plenum, discharge to output plenum, the by-pass it different, ....

so - if you are not superchagred - a bunch.... The McLaren LS used a Jag S-Type R setup, and the parts ran nearly $8k (without modifying them for the LS). So $8k + the Twin-Screw upgrade $6k = $14k without all the its&bits, tuning, ....etc. Worth more than most LSes on the road.

to me that look like the same intake

not sure what you are talking about.

the link you posted was a twin-screw supercharger swap for the roots type supercharger in the stock jag, which runs a Eaton M112. the picture you post is not the supercharged version.

the link you posted is $6k for the swap alone, that is on top of an already supercharged jag.

4.0L and 4.0L supercharged still the same engine but with a blower and that not a S-type R is for a XJR because S-type didn't have 4.0L supercharged they had 4.2L supercharged

did you even read the link you posted?

Jaguar 4.0L Twin-Screw Supercharger Upgrade (Stage 1)
[4.0TScrw1] $5,995.95

Jaguar 4.0L Twin-Screw Supercharger Upgrade (Stage 1). Eurotoys has developed a major power adder for the 4.0L Jaguar XJR & XKR. This performance package will replace your Eaton M112 supercharger with a High Performance Eurotoys/Kenne Bell 2.1L "Big Bore" supercharger.

The factory Jaguar/Eaton supercharger is not efficient, even at stock boost levels. We can add more power & torque just by installing our Lower Pulley kits, but we know that the Eaton supercharger has its limits. The Twin-screw supercharger is more efficient at higher boost levels, so you will have a much colder air charge. Couple that cooler air with less parasitic loss and you will see a big power increase on a Twin-screw equipped Jaguar (100-200hp + over an Eaton*)! Final power output will depend on boost level, other modifications and engine condition. If you have any questions about this, please give us a call, or send us an email.

When the Eurotoys/KenneBell Twin-screw is compared to other superchargers with the same pulley size, expect big boost and HP gains. The KB 2.1L BIG BORE offers higher air flow with the same rotor speed, so it produces more boost and HP at any rpm. The twin-screw blower takes less power to turn than the factory Eaton, less parasitic loss = even more power!

This Eurotoys/Kenne Bell 2.1L supercharger kit has many components, professional installation recommended. Some parts will require "light" machine work that can be done by hand, while other parts will require extensive machine work to achieve optimum airflow. All of this machining is FREE of charge if you send these parts to us. You will be notified when to send these parts, so that we minimize down-time of the vehicle.

**Vehicle/engine condition needs to be perfect when adding this much power, or serious engine damage can occur! Having low compression, dirty MAF sensors, Check Engine Lights, poor fuel, etc will not be allowed. Eurotoys Ltd. will not be liable for improper installation, or improper use. Premium Fuel is required (91+ Octane in US).
**Every kit is built to order, please allow 3-4 weeks for build time. We have a large wait list right now, if your kit will take longer than the above time, you will be notified and updated on your status.
**Blower is shown with a polished drive, that will only be available while supplies last. In the future the supercharger and drive will only be available in Black.
**If you are currently running a Eurotoys Lower Pulley kit, please notify us when ordering for details on our "Loyal Customer Exchange Program". This kit will be made to work with almost all lower pulleys, please let us know what lower pulley you have. If you have an aftermarket lower pulley, let us know the Diameter!

**This supercharger will have more supercharger whine than your Eaton unit, this is a normal characteristic of Twin-Screw Blowers. if that whine is objectionable to you, then this upgrade is not for you.

(*)Factory horsepower for the 4.0L S/C is rated at 370 DIN, most average 355-365 SAE hp at the flywheel. This can be raised to 450-480hp with our bolt-on upgrades. Anything over that will require the T/S supercharger to support the high boost/power levels. Depending on final power output, other drivetrain modifications may be required.

Yes I have read I just want to know if a 4.0L manifold intake is the same of and 3.9L intake manifold if yes that same intake the kit will fit

what? you post a link of a kb supercharger swap for an Eaton M112 supercharged jag. that has little to do with a stock non-supercharged 4.0L jag intake manifold swap with an LS.

If you are asking - will that kit fit my stock LS? - then the answer is likely - yes, but not without major additional work. They are assuming you have a supercharged jag, which already has a different intake than the non-supercharged version - with integrated liquid-to-air intercoolers, ...etc. so you simply cannot buy the kb swap kit and bolt it to your LS, as you will be missing all the stock jag supercharged pieces .

you don't understand what I want to say
I just want to know if a Jaguar 4.0L intake manifold i the same intake patern than a 3.9L if yes i can put an M112 or a KB supercharger because M112 can't sold without engine

If you are asking - "can I buy all the pieces to convert a non-supercharged Jag to turn it into a supercharged jag and bolt that to my LS" the answer - again - is likely YES. but it is not a direct bolt-on - there will be some work as the jag heads, intake, computer, ...etc systems are all different. The link you posted is not all the pieces you need to convert a non-supercharged engine to a supercharged one, it is only to take a supercharged M112 to a kb.

not sure what you mean by "because M112 can't sold without engine" - you can buy Eaton M112 all over - many on e-bay right now.

I want to take m112 with intake manifold from and Jaguar XJR 4.0L supercharged OR KB kit and put that on LS 3.9 engine
I know about internal component

then I answered that in the post above. I am sorry if the is a slight lanuage barrier.

that me who are sorry because my first language are french

If have understand M112 or KB supercharger will fit with a custom intake but intake manifold of a supercharged 4.0L will not fit ?

the manifold will fit as in "the ports line up"... but you will need a lot more things than just the manifold if you plan to supercharge. That jag supercharged manifold it part of an expensive system that uses two side mounted liquid-to-air intercoolers, re-worked intake track, fuel system upgrades, pcm tuning, ....etc. You can potentially purchase the entire setup for the jag, and re-work it to fit an LS - but that was the $8k in parts I quoted a few posts back.

well - that's the $8k in parts - plus all the work to match it to the LS I mentioned.

I think what he's trying to say is:

"So, quik, if one were to find a 4.0L SC jag engine with a spun bearing or something for dirt cheap, one COULD swap the necessary parts if they bought the entire assembly? Then, along with tuning, get this to work? "

It just seems too easy to me, and I was pretty damn sure that the engines were not similar enough to swap parts directly from one to the other.

The other thing may be hood clearance.

potentially. The jag had different heads, accessories, ...etc - but I believe the port alignment is the same. The challenge is all the other connections are different - not impossible to work through, but not as simple as it may seem. I believe the SuperCharger thread actually started with someone who bought the complete setup off a jag....

Most of the time, retrofitting is more of a headache than just going aftermarket.
