I'm curious if you have tried spraying Pam cooking spray on the quarter panels and inner fender wells to help keep all that rubber from sticking when doing a burn out like that?

Just a thought.

You tortured her pretty good.

BAH, Rubber keeps the paint protected from rock chips............:D

It's just dirty, as i hav'nt really been driving it and did'nt care if it was filthy. It's getting detailed before the Boscobel meet so should look "OK" for that.

But other than that....................

It's getting converted to a GEN2 rear half and interior next year and a complete repaint, (in my typical fashion) so it will have to look bad for now.

Also,

Now that I've actually turned the tuner up to the 100 horse setting on my powerstroke I realize I'm gonna need either nitrous, a bigger turbo, or both.

WAY too much smoke.

I can blot out all 3 lanes of traffic in my rear view mirror with this trailer on it.

Juvinile delenquecy is alot of fun in a truck like this. :)

I have no strain either. It's just getting too much fuel because of the bigger injectors.

I can run up to the 95 MPH speed limiter with 2 cars on a gooseneck....(if i wanted) I just need the added oxygen to cut the smoke back a bit.

For the record..........I don't like Banks. Just a personal preference.

Mike

Hope you've ot a pyro with that tuner.

Stupid question - how did you get out of the car once it was on that trailer??? I paid extra for a low fender height trailer to be sure it could haul my Mark VIII. And on top of that I had to elevate the car on 2x12's to be sure to get out.

I must've missed car haulin' 101. :p

Yes I have a pyro,

at WOT I've seen 1300 degrees.

My method for getting out of the car.........

load car
roll window down
pop hood
leave ignition on
Dukes of hazzard it out of the car
use stick to roll window up through crack between door and jamb
lock car and close door.
pull negative battery terminal
and shut hood.

To unload, reverse procedure.

(you have to pop the hood manually by reaching up through the bottom of the bumper cover.)

Kind of a PITA, but works for me.

I figured you would have one. ;)

When I had my '02 PowerStroke, with the Donaldson air filter mod and wide open 5" exhaust, I could run the +75 HP tune without the pyro getting out of hand. Maybe the altitude has something to do with it?

...Dukes of hazzard it out of the car
...

I could handle everything else, but I don't think I could accomplish that stunt. :D

I will Toph,

Just hoping I don't run into any problems with the threadserting. It can be a PITA to say the least.

Thanks Rich,

That all sounds vaguely familiar from my recent car haul, only difference is that I didn't have to worry about the hood because there wasn't one on the car.

Why not, I'm around 250 lbs. and I did it!

LOL, These tires are'nt big. They are only 33's

The car is somewhat done.

Other than having a blown input shaft bearing. I only have myself to thank for that. New T3650 is on the way.

it was done.

The tranny is toast, and won't be back together till next week its looking like.

1-2 & 3-4 shiftforks and input shaft are beyond trashed.

I'll see what happens tomorrow.

Mike

I spoke with Rich today via phone and explained my situation.

The tranny won't be done till late tomorrow, and I'll have to drive to Denver to pick it up.

Sorry guys no mike this time.

Dad will be there tomorrow night.

Take care.
