Oil filter is smashed all to hell and is seized on like its been welded. We tryed a screwdriver through it and that didnt work. Any tips???

Tried channel locks too. Thanks to the huge amount of space available,they were equallly unsucessful
 
Watch the stub that holds the filter on though if your banging anything near there. Same with the mating surface for the rubber gasket...

Punch, chisel, or a screwdriver and a hammer. Punch it through and twist it off.
Makes a mess but it works.
 
Is it still stuck?
You could twist off as much as can and use a chisel on the rim to knock it loose. Just don't damage the mounting surface.
 
Take the whole adapter plate off. It would give you a much easier chance. It's not very hard. At this point you might as well before you break or damage something else

It looks like theres a coolant hose hooked into it and i can only see one bolt. This has to be the hugest pita ive ever known.. and now i want to beat the hell out of the idiot who did it.
