And personally, I found that taking those IMRCs apart to be a miserable experience. I think I'd sooner replace the engine than take the IMRCs off again.
Gen 1 and Gen 2 heads both have rectangular primary ports and round secondary ports, the only difference in the two heads are better valve springs on the Gen 2's.
The Gen 1 intakes have round primary and secondary runners, the IMRC's convert the round intake to the square head ports.
