ice box

Yhea geno did, not enough intrest to support cost. there not that hard to make.

I dint tape it I cut both resanators off and fiberglassd over them and a quick shot of paint. I could have done a better job but it was my first time and it functioned just fine so I left it. for the new car I will do up a better one.

I'm also going to make it go to the same place as that one. It looks clean and thats what I like is a clean, smooth car. Like it should be there. Not all clutterd like these motors come from the factory.

what did you use to cover the intake resenator after your cut if off? (im not talking about the one you can just pull off and quik cap.

Ray made mine... he used bondo to fill the hole. First you cut it off with at dremel then sand and trim it down good. Next patch it like fixing a rust hole. Put something over the hole then spread the bondo.

i would think that you could make a template out of cardboard.. then marker and cut it out of a flat sheet of aluminum..

find anyone with a break, brake (sp?)..used for bending metal when siding and capping a house..and they should be able to follow the marker lines and bend it up for ya...

then ya just need some sort of trim or edging to cover the sharp edges...

i'll give it a try over the summer.. and post when i get something

If your going to use duct tape, make sure it wont get sucked in. But please dont use tape, take ten bucks, go get a fiber glass kit and use a dremel to shave it down and do a little fab work your self. Its worth the time you put into it. Not much on performance, But it sounds better an looks better.

or buy one from jamie, just dont do it half assed!
