As above. Doing mine right now. Got me a 94 up tube, cut, smoothed, parts of old resonators glued over holes, then bondo over that. Just got to finish sanding, then priming and hi temp enamel painting! Should look and sound better than the ugly dimpled tube!

yea i hear that, im not going to use duct tape... it was kind of a joke. Sounds like a fun project to do while drinking a couple beers... nothing too serious, always love a beer while watching paint dry! Good write up. I used that quick cap on the one end of that bigger resonator. shaving it definetl unclutters the engine a bit. What was the purpose of that, just to quiet the intake?
