I washed her up today and go into QT. I see one guy eyeballing her. As I leave, the guy with his girlfriend gets out and say her mom has a 94. Then he says "I Love your car, looks awesome". Cool!! Then I back out and a guy on a cellphone starts pointing at me. I think there's something wrong, he comes up and says "That's one straight car, thumbs up" That's just the greatest thing when someone appreciates the look of these cars.

I remember shortly after buying my black on black Mark VIII, a bunch of guys at a gas station started ogling it and then asking questions. It's really an amazing car, especially considering it was released 13 years ago. I can think of few 1993 anythings that still look so great.

I told the first guy, he had never heard of us. I told him to goggle it. The other guy was on the phone so I really did'nt talk with him.

That's awesome. I just bought a tranny with 42000 on it and haven't decided yet on the edge or one from a guy on the action site.

that all sounds great. back when I put my gear in I chose the Motorsport one with the 373 gear, if I did it over again I would have gone with a 410, I was happy with the 373 in my Stang which ran low 12's with a 5 speed manual and 125 hp NoS. but I really didn't take into consideration my Mark VIII was heavier than my Stang. plus the fact my Mark VIII is an automatic. I plan on doing the tranny/convertor next, when I can afford it. probably gonna get a 3200rpm one.

What is neat is there are 5 Mark VIII's in Boscobel and I own 3 of them!!! (or will own 3 shortly... title is on it's way for #3....)

Hey does anyone have a 96 Mark VIII they want to sell... LOL....That would take care of the Gen 1's..

I get looks wherever I go with mine...and it's just a plain ole stock black one.

i think you should start looking into gen 2's:D
 
Well once I have my set of Gen1s then it's time to step down LOL... J/K..

A Gen2 will be in the future. Need to complete the first set. There are more of them LOL... But only one more to get.

Your mark looks really nice! those wheels/tires look sharp. What size wheels and tire size are they? I'm guessing 18" 245/40/18 ???

Happens everywhere I go, my tint is limo so jaws drop even more when a chickie babe gets out!!! Even I have to take a look back at him when I park him....I love my MarkVIII.

Wow those are 17's. huh. they look great on there. where did you get them for such a good price? I really like that design. Makes the car look really sharp!
