How much gas do u guys get in your ls's off a full tank

2000 ls v6 and i get about 165 off a full tank before the light comes on

Ummmm yeah, something is wrong with yours. I'm at about 300 miles when the light comes on (all city). Comes to about 19 mpg.

ouch....i get 275-300 on my V8 and ive seen as high a 330 on a highway trip.

I never look at the miles to empty thing.. I know I have gotten as high as 28 with my V8.. usually around 25-26..

That's not going to decrease MPGs too much.. It will just not like 100 miles.. Maybe 10 every fill-up

I would replace the fuel filter, and depending on the milage, change the spark plugs

Oil change, Air filter, Plugs (check for oil in the wells), fuel filter, and maybe a product like SeaFoam..

Bad cats will kill your mileage, I get an easy 300 miles per tank, county roads and city, mostly...

My 05 V6 with 67k miles only gets around 230 on a tank before the light comes on. Im thinking about changing out my plugs soon. Just wish these cars weren't so gay to work on and you didn't have to take off the damn intake on to change the passanger side!

We get a physical message as well (the V8) as well as an audible warning telling our cheap asses to put fuel and quit running on fumes.
