These are some rings I whipped up to allow you to put an aftermarket 9005 HID bulb into a 97/98 Mark. I made these out of 1/8' thick aluminum and had a hard time getting a good cut with my dull 1" bit so that's why the hole in the center isn't perfect.

$25 paypal gets you a set shipped anywhere in the US...

It will bolt up, but I don't know if it will interfere with anything as I don't own one...

That being said I see no reason why they wouldn't.

i've been waiting for someone to make these instead of buying the 300 kit just for the adapter .

Can you use 9005 bulbs with stock ballasts? I think I want a set.

i beleive so you can buy the $70 hid kit and use these vesus spending 300 on the "mark viii" kit on ebay. mafios i beleive.

No... our stock ballast are DC all modern HID uses AC if I remember correctly...

All you need to do is buy an aftermarket HID kit for $50-$150 and you are good to go.

Good to know. Where do I send my money? I still have stock bulbs and want to switch out.

Your good for about 6-12 month before the aftermarket HID goes out :shifty:

mine in my 95 are almost a year and a half old and still work like the day i put them in, and the kit was only 80 bucks! i got my moneys worth 3 times over

HID Housings

I want some HID housings for my '94 too. Any ideas where to get them? And I will hit you up for these plates/adapters after I get the housings.

Where?

Any item #'s you can give? I don't see them I looked already this morning. Maybe I'm not searching the correct phrase?
