Mikes buddy did some custom engraving on his calipers, you got competition son! :lol: He isn't a member here, and didn't even know someone else had done this before. :lol:

I have the fastest silver colored Cobra calipers on a white Mark with Saleens. :D
 
Well it prolly wouldnt be true if I didnt add the Saleens on there. Seems there is another blown white Mark around thats prolly faster then me. My cars pretty slow.

did dave actually machine the emblem into the caliper or is it just painted on?

Yeah, my car is slow. Seriously. I was expecting this impressive slam you in the seat acceleration but its really too civilized. Yeah the car is faster then its NA counterpart but still..... IDK. Maybe with the right trans tune and lower boost with more timing it will be better but for now I am just not too impressed.

Jeff said bring it back he'd fix it!:eek::D:)

fix it= putting the blower on toms car because tom only whines DURING the install, but quickly quiets down after the install, not vice versa.:shifty::D


what kinda person would be unsatisfied with over 150 HP over the stock power level???

I havent whined at all, just stating facts. I think one reason me and Jeff became friends instead of mechanic/customer is because not once in all the work have I asked him "Is it done yet?" or "When are you gonna start on this?" Hell, we would get up at 6 am, shoot the crap for 5 hours THEN go work on the car! :lol: Only time he got upset with me was if I had forgotten to remind him of something after it was past the point of me supposed to remind him. :D (sorry about the plugs and throttle body Jeff)



Anyway, if you drove the car Tommy you would see what I mean for normal driving. Its because the trans shift pattern is way the hell off but will be fixed soon. Plus (and I will pat myself on the back for this) the car is so stable and planted that it has no drama when accelerating. It will hit 60 in 4.98 seconds :eek: but does it with no tire spin or bark or sense of urgency, it just gets there. Then yesterday I took Jeremy for a ride and on this overpass I nailed it.... it was unempressive and the only indication of speed was how quickly we shot past this SUV that was doing 45 mph.

Even on the way home yesterday I was stuck doing 60 and passed these cars, only took maybe 5 seconds and when I went back into the lane I was doing 110 but the car felt like it was being held back somehow.

I know. I am an ass. :( I guess if I want more drama I could just swap on some skinny Sumitomos and then the car would feel faster cause it breaks the tires loose all the time. :D

Ha I feel the same way laser... got used to the blower and now I want more power! Thats why i am buying a stock mark so when mine feels slow ill just drive the stock one for a day.
 
you must be really planted cause i have 18x10's with 295's on the back and i can fry the tires rolling at 25mph. I do know what you mean about the butt o meter though. I expected it to be like my old 460-punch the gas and FEEL IT. Instead it just gets down and goes-no drama at all. It's very deceptive after you get used to it, but when you look behind you and can't see the car that was behind you at the stoplight you realize just how much faster it is.
 
Thats pretty much what its like.

And yeah, the tire thing is just weird. Dont know why it hooks so well. The Yokohama S-Drives are the single best tire I EVER had but for them to be that sticky is really suprising.
