Here`s the final product. Enjoy

?????????????
Amazing how much my post about what, why, and how his sub box is, is being ignored.

Vented (or ported). Sealed typically gives great bass response, but requires more power. Ported boxes typically produce more volume and sound great until they dip below the tuning frequency.

jvip i have no idea what your talking about the grille, like what are you talking about leaving the center black what center

So much potential in that ls. Why are you putting it through so much misery?

hahaha i love what you did with it. I'm going to get rid of the headlights and clea them but can you please tell me wher i can get clear turn signals i can't find any...

There is a DIY on here about it.

Basically you put them in the oven (5 min in the oven on 280) and open them up. Take the indication reflector out and seal them back up using RVT.

I would deal with the missfire then the deck lid and quarter panel before I spent money on anything else.

Damn dude.

Why are you cleaning the lenses with gas? Did I read that correctly?

Technically, yes that box is a bandpass (in design), but I guarantee you that it isn't built to spec or tuned remotely close to what it may need to be. That is a bestbuy hunk-o-junk box that you get with some of their plastic 'woofers'.

I like what the other member did with painting the mesh, definitely tones down the gutter guard theme.

Exactly! Do just these & it will look 100x's better. Like someone else said your ls has a lot of potential. You have a unique color don't force cheap easy mods on it. Even stock looks better then it does right now. It is your car & taste but don't take anyone's advice the wrong way.

Sorry but that LS looks like it's been on welfare for a while.

You should just pick up some of those bullet gunshot hole stickers,
slap them all over the car and people will only then begin to understand
what you got going on there ...

Agree with others on most comments, lots of potential.
I would consider doing the following:

Start with fixing body problems, at least get an estimate before doing other mods, so you'll know if you want to continue other upgrades. That's going to cost some $$. If it costs too much, why continue modding?

Remove Tint on headlights.
Clear the headlight corners (remove amber lens).
Replace bumper marker lights with these:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2000-02-LIN...:Lincoln|Model:LS&hash=item46017eba80&vxp=mtr
Remove lower grill mesh, paint black.
Paint upper mesh black.
Color match front grill chrome and rear license plate surround.
Remove added emblem below front fender molding.
Window tint.
Cut rear bumper/valence for exhaust tips/add exhaust tips:
http://www.lincolnvscadillac.com/showthread.php?t=44774
Get another shock tower strut cover:
http://www.lincolnvscadillac.com/showthread.php?t=82082
Clean engine bay/add intake manifold cover.
Get an intake heatshield from Hite337.
Get some more engine cowl/radiator cover plug holders to fill the holes.
Fill front license plate holes/paint (or attach license plate).
Paint passenger rear view mirror.
Re-route blue wire above subwoofer.
Black Caliper paint and black out chrome around windows.
Maybe tint the rear window brake light to match rear light tint (or tint entire rear window so it covers the window brake light).

Interior looks in good shape, like the wood etc (maybe replace floor mats with the fabric LS mats).

What are the round reflective things on all the front air vents on the dash?

You guys do remember he did that body damage to the trunk himself??

I could never do that to a car. Ill break a window but i wont do that.

Lol that was one of the first threads I read on this forum. Freakin' hilarious, if not also slightly depressing

Replacing the window would have been quite a bit less expensive!

The funny part is, I bet fixing the trunk and side panel is the last on his list. It's Sad to, because it's a cool color that would look real good with a lse grille and not mesh.

i actually went and found the thread lol and now i feel bad.

anyways jrocc at least you have some good advice in this thread, i think you can improve your car alot if you follow some of the things said in this thread.

At least I will give him credit for breaking away from the same mods 90 Percent of this forum has. I wi say a lot of my mods noone else here did before. Now 90 percent of my mods have never been mentioned by myself here either

forgot:

:: needs new clock spring
:: needs to have "AC Filter Change Required" set back to 100%

but ... honestly, this trunk lid thing, best to get another one from
the scrapers and send it along for a whole complete.
(it's rusting out around the surround anyhow)

There's a lot of exterior damage to that thing.
and there doesn't appear to be enough funds in that budget.

I'd sell that off and find another one ...

and why you put the emblems on the tail lenses back on slightly crooked ?

should have just left them off ...

Replacing the window would have been quite a bit less expensive!

Thats why i said that.

And theyll come out to you and do it in your driveway versus being without a car for several days.
