does anyone know a product that i can use on my headlights to remove the yellowness? my headlights are wat i would call dryrotting. any way to fix this?

you can try a headlight plastic polish from the autoparts store. Or look online for headlight restoration kits. They specifically sell them for the older mustangs, that i know for sure.

My local auto parts store sells a kit for that kind of repair. Has some cleaners and some kind of special polish. Not expensive.

they sell a kit, it pretty much a buffing compond, semi rough grit, that comes with usually three different pads. must be careful, because it takes layers of the clear plastic off. must do it evenly on the whole thing. I have been working on mine, but I still havent got them where i want them. also there are companies, headlight hunters, headlight doctor, etc. they charge 50 to 150 depending on where your at.

Whenever I do custom angel eye headlights I clean the outside of the headlights with Meguiar's PlastX Clear Plastic Cleaner. It does wonders in removing the yellow stains. Here is what it looks like:

Here's a link to buy it:

there's also some polish called S100 works wonders. I use it on the windscreen on my motorcycyle. Cleans it really good.
