And my other project of the day...

New limestone and addition to the driveway on the left side of the garage

good deal now you can see the deer at night. did you rewire the dimmer switch so they both light up. Mike got the hids put in the95 while he was at it he put a relay to cut the load on the dimmer switch. he has a set of lens that i polished up setting on the shelf not perfect but for 17 year old they are damm nice. try and get on chat to night. later. jd

Drove it tonight. It's definitely better but damn I wish there was just a bit more output. My psd with the high lows is brighter and has me spoiled. It's a 55w kit in the truck but I was hoping the factory hids would be just a bit better...

Mike I hope sometime soon you can come check out my setup. It couldn't get much better unless the garage was bigger :-D it's always funny when people with a ton more money say they are jealous because of the workspace I have in that garage... Now if the house garage was big enough to fit both the psd and her car I would be real happy.

Headlights look awesome.
i was going to give you :q:q:q:q about the garage not being sided but you beat me to it.
how do you like the lime stone (does it stay in place or create alot of dust)?
My driveway is 800ft long and i cant afford to pave it so i need a good rock.

Let me get back to you on the drive. This weekend we are going through with some equipment and smoothing it out. So far it does have a lot of dust but it hasn't rained since I've put it in to wash some of it off. It doesn't move much now but the guy spreading the 57's didn't know what he was doing and cause me to have to try to spread it myself. With siding the garage, there was no way to afford a concrete drive and my wife doesn't want a blacktop drive. I like the way the limestone has brightened up the place and can't wait to see the finished product with the garage and the limestone beside the garage. Once they start on the building I will probably be doing a progress thread cause I know all of you guys love seeing big garages. When looking at houses a detached garage was necessary because I didn't want to store the vehicles off site and I don't like things setting out. It will be interesting to see how long I am ok with the car trailer setting beside the garage before I say screw it and move it back in (at least until there is a lift in there). My wife is already on board with finishing the inside with insulation and drywall, and letting me close off under the loft with another little garage door for the Cobra and storage so it is not seen from the outside. It might take me a while to get it looking great on the inside but what it is now makes me damn happy. Once I get it cleaned out and rid of my scrap metal I will take some pictures of the inside, that is my next project to work on. All of this stuff will be done by september when I am planning on have a meet at my house again if anyone is interested.

those headlights look like sex on there. Have you thought of paint-matching the grill to the car?

If the car were black maybe but I like the chrome grill on the gen 1 unlike the gen 2 base. It fits my car much better than a gen 2 in my opinion. Thanks for the compliments though it does brighten up the look of the car.

I want to maybe color match all the chrome on my car in the future, idk yet- i kinda like the way the chrome and black looks too much lol
