I installed a K&N Typhoon about a year ago with no trouble but now I have a check engine light and a p0104 code.

My theory is that the new K&N filter may have had too much oil in it and that the sensor is just dirty. I'm hoping so at least, seems like the cheapest/easiest fix! :D

So anyone have any good tips for cleaning this baby out? And special products I should try?

Thanks!

And let the spray clean it, don't touch or try and scrub the sensors with anything.

I used crc's electronic cleaner.. only thing I had in my garage, seemed to do fine.

I've used that stuff on my mustang and my ls definitely noticed how much cleaner the maf was
Works great

Oh very nice folks! I will definitely be buying a can of this then. Hopefully it fixes the light...
