Got the new wheels on

I got the wheels on today even though we had a cold rain part of the time. I treated them to a new set of wheel locks. These are the ones I got from k9t8m.

For reference, these were the old Octastars:

It is in 4X4 mode right now, but I will lowering it a bit soon.

The Toreador red and Ebony is a killer color combo:

The wheels set it off that much more. The only other thing I need to do is get some new calipers and paint them to match the car.

Nice, looks real good and I too like the color combo also. I most likely will be giving mine to my wife and I will be buying another in form of LSC Black Charcoal or Red and in either color it will have to have ebony interior also.

Hmm. I never liked those on k9s 1st gen, but they actually look pretty good on yours.

Honestly the low light pictures don't do them justice. They were in much better shape than the pics he had in his ad, and the tires are closer to 75%. On my particular car I like them, it takes away the old man car image a bit. Octastars look better on some other color Marks I have seen, but I just can't stand them on my particular car. They will also look much better once the car is lowered a bit.

to me, from the side profile it looks like you just posted a pic of his car! i mean same color cars, same kind of car, diff gen, unless you see the front or the back, it dont look any different than his car.
