well mine are from japanimport retard too in my 93 they work fine, so do the 2 kits i put in another 93 and a 94 but my buddies wife wanted a set for her 95 and this is where i ran into problems with this ass. i went to put them in, one bulb lit, one didnt, i looked at it, it was black inside the capsule and cracked, i called him, he asked for pics, i sent pics same day, 4 days later he says ship the bulb back for a replacement, i shipped next day, 3 weeks later after numerous emails and losing a customer he sends me a bulb, now i have another kit and refunded her the money back, she doesnt want them now, and this guy can only say sorry for the delay, thats it. no more business from me . i'll shop somewhere else.

I got my first set from japanimportshop very fast, when I ordered the second set for my friends car it took about 3 weeks & he did try to BS me as well. Oh well, you learn & remember next time!

how do the oem hids in housing in the 96 compare to a non hid housing with an aftermarket halogen hid conversion kit compare? (hope that makes sense)

Jamie said his halogen housing -> aftermarket hid was better than the stock hid in hid housing.

Jamie-intensehid, less than $77 with shipping, one year warranty, only sells HID's and answers the phone and solves problems without drama. I and at least 4 others I turned on to them are happy with our HID's, JMO.

hmm 77 bucks im sold... you gotta watch out cuz some hids are def pieces of crap you can tell there on all the beat up hondas and toyotas around here and are like purple and not very bright at all, but there light out put doesnt seems to be correct.

but if 4 people are happy sheet, that price is sweet. i remember when a d2s bulb used to cost that.

Received my HID kit from Japan Import, it was shipped fast, but they sent me the 9006 bulb instead of the 9005. Is there enough difference to matter?

it took him over 3 weeks, 3 weeks and 2 days to ship me another bulb because one in the kit i bought was broken, but yet when i bought the kit it got here in a day and a half, if you send the 9006 bulbs back watch how long it takes you to get it right now. i wont buy from him anymore he ruined it with me, i bought 5 kits total from him, but not anymore.

No painted tip, the label says 6000k which is for the Diamond White. Does anyone have a working number for him?

Found his number, says he is going to ship the bulbs today. Guess I can mount everything and hold off on the bulbs. Seems like his customer service was fair.
Had to search his shop to get his phone#.
I always have the good ole EBAY feedback option also.

no you dont, you cannot leave neg feedback anymore if you are a buyer, even if they do you wrong, ebay changed their rules, no matter what happens now, if you are a buyer, and get screwed over, you can no longer leave negitive feedback what total BS. dont think the phone call is a promise he will act quick, i spoke with him on the phone twice and it still took 3 weeks.

I will second that! When you do get screwed they are not there to help you. Sure their policy sounds good but it's all BS!

You just have to hope that the seller is a good guy & will do the right thing.

I use eBay A LOT. Well so do you Jamie. Things have sure changed in the past few years. Im so cautious now, almost paranoid to buy stuff on there.

I come across fake auctions ALL the time. "Dont e-mail me via eBay, e-mail me here: xxx@fake.net" etc, etc.. then you look at the history and some person is selling ceramic mini-town sets and hand made dolls but now they are selling a 80" plasma TV? lol

I did receive a tracking number about a hour after I talked to him.
On EBAY, Had to give negative feedback several times as the buyer.
Its amazing how quick they respond when they see a neg in their email.

cool... i drive around with my high beems on and no one even notices... The lows are so terrible. My headlights are still shiney and clear i dont get it? A friends lights are all yellow and nasty mine were replaced around 60 something K. Is it that the bulbs are weak or what? The hid's would be going into the low beam right? I just want to make sure its the bulbs and not the headlight assembly... The bulbs just look underpowered?

Yeah, you put the HID bulbs in the low beam. But, before you do that you may want to rechrome the insides of your housings to get the full benefit.

I have my hids in the high beams, because i'm too lazy to hack open my super clear passengers side housing which has the crap reflective, which reminds me, turborich have you gotten rid of those housings? I'll take both
