Got a little problem

K&N makes that sock for the air filter to prevent water infiltration. Shouldn't be an issue.

Too bad gen 1's can't do turbos... (stupid air assisted injectors).

I wonder if we can swap a gen 2 intake mani/fuel rail to make it work...

I didn't know k&n made one, but I do have one from when I tried running the filter down to the bumper. I know it prevents water from getting in but thats just asking for trouble, even with the sock. Last winter I had to drive through about 3 feet of water since to get out of school and I even thought my filter would suck in water being in the engine bay, now imaging it being in the bottom of the car

my solution for this is that i dont drive through any water that is deeper than the body of the car

Yeah, me neither but when you're surrounded by it, it's get hard to avoid.

Just got an email from the guy today. He's going to call me next week to schedule a date to take the car in and install the turbo. I'm excited!

you know you might be able to flip the headers around so the collectors point to the front then they y to the turbo. thats what we do with foxbody mustangs.

just a thought

I sold them already since it would just cost more for me to have turbo + headers . The turbo will make more than enough power so I just saw as having the headers as pointless IF i went with the turbo.

Turbo kit is ready for installation!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm very excited to check it out and have it installed.
