GOOSEBUMPS and LAST shot of the car sitting just right...

I did my sensor lowering today and probably would have been at it forever on the rear sensor had it not been for my manly 4" ratchet wrench. :D Replaced all of the old funky lug nuts with new shiny ones. And my new HOT*MK8 plates came in today, too.

Sorry my crummy Spectrum doesn't take better pics, but I just had to share this one. I just LOVE this sexxxxy car!!!

Ya, I was thinkin' that, but I just put Michelin Pilot A/S's on it. I'd have to eat $625 worth of tires! And buy the rims. And do the hub swap. And I'm not finished with the stereo yet. And I have to install my LMS mufflers and MAF kit.

Maybe Santa will bring me some different rims. I think it's okay to be on original stuff, too, though :cool:
 
Yep. I was a huge octi fan and the '98 in the garage is wearing those. Like the gold badging, I wasn't thrilled with these directionals at all. But, they have really grown on me and are in fantastic shape, so I'll be on these for a while. At least until I run out of stuff to do... :shifty:

Thanks, UltimateSVT!!! Na, I really don't want to go through a hub swap. I like the car being 'slightly' modified, but it's gonna take me a long while to wear out those Michelins!

And, slowmkviii, the camera is total crap on my Spectrum. The rearend is fine now, but I did have to put it on the ramps a second time 'cause the first time I was a real lowrider, man.

And the tires would definitely have rubbed. It seems pretty balanced for now, but I did have to dash away for my DMV appointment, so it will stay for now. I was trying to make it as close to the way it was in my sig pic with the air ride off cause of problems. I still have some room to work with on the front just with the notch in the bracket, so I will probably raise it just a tiny bit when I get un-exhausted :sleep:

I love that Caddie. I would definitely rock that car :D
 
Looks amazing man! Stick with the chrome 10 spokes, if you hub swap for the love of god don't put speed stars on it..there's a billion other options for wheels if you do that..only reason I have cobra Rs on mine is for convenience purposes..they are the stock bolt pattern and were used and a good deal so I couldn't say no..if I swapped hubs I would spend money on some fr500s or chrome 03/04 cobras..and by the way speedstars ARE available in 5x4.25 FYI...they are just always out of stock. And if you put that LMS exhaust on.do.something about the quad tips..just doesn't look right on such a clean stock appearing mark viii, id try and keep the stock tips if at all possible, but that's just me. Eitherway you have one awsome mark!

That looks seriously good! Those wheels are so shiny! I love it! I think black is the absolute best color for these cars. They look so sleek and sinister in black. Like something the MIB should be driving:)

I'm a BIG fan of all three MIB movies. Especially the latest one. It was 10x better than the first two combined. Well, mostly I'm a big Tommy Lee Jones fan. Doesn't matter what kind of movie it is, if he's in it, it's awesome. Anyhoo that reminded me that I used to have an '86 Crorwn Vic ex-police car. Unfortunately, I sold it before the first MIB movie came out. If I still had it I would have painted it black and put some cherry bombs on it and a fake shifter with a "little red button" sticking up between the seats:)

Ha ha!!!! I think it's a sweet ass car for ANYBODY!!!!! :D But I'm extremely happy that it's mine :p
