Gen I and Gen II side mirror Question?

Physically they are a bolt on but electrically they are not wired.

Could you wire the gen II sidemirror to the interior light, to lite when unlocked or something? I've been wanting to do this since I got my car. BTW...Do all 95's have heated side mirrors or just the ones with the auto dim rearview? Curious.
yea and then we can wire the turn signal to the actual turn signal lamp on the car. Would this work?

yes it can be done, and yes it has been done, problem is finding the people have done it, i have seen pics so do a google search, their out there.

you need the wiring from a gen 2 as well, just the mirrors wont do you much good if you want them to work electrically!

With the correct gauge wires and corresponding fuse #'s it shouldn't be too bad. Wouldn't have to gut one from a yard, although with such short wire runs it shouldn't be a problem.
Might as well do the rear view and side view at the same time. Sounds like my first Warm spring project.

http://www.pineautosalvage.com/ call these guys tomorrow I got a bunch on gen II parts from them in November and I'm guessing the still have the car it is a black on black 97 LSC.
If they say they don't have the car have them physically go out and check the yard. I went up there to get some parts and I had to tell them they had a MARK VIII there.
