What I DO hate is the stupid door "rail" thingy that the window rolls up into. What the heck you call that part of the door? The upper window frame?

Anyway, I like the look when the window is down the door is open. Provides that nice convertible feel. My 73 Mark IV had that, I think my 79 Mark V did also.

You know? This is actually not a bad deal... Let's say you can buy this car for what? $2,000.00? You take this car home, first thing to come off, those hidious wheels that belong on a truck. You can probably get a good $1,500 just for the rims. Then sell the entire fast bag system! You just got the car for free + made some cash on top. Lambo doors? Not my style but with the right wheels, right ride height? They might not look too shabby + they turn heads. Not a bad accesory to have & I would like to see what they look like on a Mark VIII.

Let's go back to the disapearing door days from JayTech when they used the Mark VIII as the preferred prototype sample vehicle... Too bad they never went forward with this.

I like the idea of buying that car for around $2000 and parting off the crap. I am sure you could get a couple hundred for the door hinges but the wheels are only worth $1200 +/-. Take the flat screen and throw it in my office, sell off that rediculously huge air system and come out ahead enough to get the car for free and painted.
