Gen 1 motor in a Miata for sale in OK

I was thinking about the TPS and IAC, thinking about taking a look at it regardless. Def not interested, but curious.
 
Interesting... Wouldn't mind an MX-5, one day - I REFUSE to call it a Miata - sounds so f'ing gay!

Of course, I'd have to go with THE engine swap - LS something or other. :shifty:

holy crap, i've seen miatas with 5.0 ohv, but never with 4.6 dohcs. damn, i want it. besides the power to weight,i can imagine mpg might be great with such low weight ! :shifty:

seriously, i would love to see how it handles, would it understeer like mad?

If i wanted to buy a mark i could.

actually i could have bought about 5 of them.

And my LS is far from busted....its damn near immaculate but then again you are blinded by the mark.

my car is actually from this decade. it still had the original tires when i bought it.

I dont like miatas but they are considered one of the greatest sports cars for the price.

My LSC is no gift that is for dam sure, the car is a total PITA.

What that said, I have kicked some tires of a few LS's that call LVC home.
Nice cars.....kinda :p

Its always fun to watch them try to burn rubber :D

So they're an appropriate response to a post that randomly calls that car a "TURD" with no apparent inside knowledge of the car and no explanation or reasoning behind the comment.

As a former Miata owner, I do believe I have the right and knowledge to call that car a TURD. The Miata(mx-5) was designed with a v6 in mind, hence the spacious engine bay. Why take a car that is known for it`s handling prowess and turn it into an ill handling TURD? Throw a Jackson Bros. Supercharger kit on it and keep the handling, or buy a factory Turbo car. Rotary swap for insane power?
THAT CAR IS, AND ALWAYS WILL BE A TURD! ! ! ! Loud enough for you?
