Gen 1 airbags on Gen 2

I have tried to search but with the above terms, I basically get half the threads that have ever existed here. :lol:

Basically I have a bad bag up front, and want to replace both just because I will have it up in the air anyway. I have a buddy who has a set of Gen 1 bags he will sell me dirt cheap, but want to be sure that nothing big changed between gens before I buy them.

gen 1 are steel and gen 2 is plastic, but as far as interchanging them i think its ok

That's what Mike said, but just want to be sure. Don't want to have the old bags out and run into an issue while trying to put these in....might cause me to pull a Ripped Camel. :lol: :lol: :lol:
