My 97 is stuck at KK shop.

After Brandon finished the detail the car was running and it died, no pressure at the rail.
We wanted to put a one piece drive shaft in, and a pumpkin I have with 4.10s so we decided to toss in a pump while the tank was out.
Car has over 100k, so a new pump won't hurt.
We put 12v to the old pump and it ran.
Everything is installed but of course still no pressure at the rail.
We cant seem to find any power at the pump when you cycle the key.
Switched relays to test if the one for the pump was bad made no difference.
We have two live 12v coming out of the power box "under the hood fuse box"
for the fuel pump rely.
Anyone know what color wire coming out of the power box is 12v for the pump?
What color wire at the pump is supposed to be 12V?
Any ideas on WTF is going on.
Thanks...

Silly question, but did you check the interia shut off to see if it was bumped/tripped when you were cleaning out the car/trunk?

should have +12v on white wire out of inertia switch to fuel pump driver module.
at fpdm, the br/w and pk/bk go to fuel pump, bk goes to ground, white comes from the inertia switch, and the other 2 come from the PCM. Unplug the connector at the tank and at the fpdm and ohm the br/w and pk/bk wires to see if that is ok...other than that it may be the fpdm. might have someone slap the bottom of the tank while cranking it to see if it will fire up

is it a walbro?255 did you switch wires? or am i just not even on the right page?

Problem solved!

The fuel pump driver module :q:q:q:q the bed... installed a known good unit and the car runs great.

Thanks KK. Never know when I might need to find it. Some modules can be a bear to find and ALLDATA lies sometimes. LOL

I knew when I seen you go offline, you would have that thing fixed before you came back.

He Won't give up.

Good show KK.

To say the least, I always get the weird frickin problems.
Fuel pump driver module WTF I Wonder if you can still get them I will have to check with Max.
Brandon had one...but he didnt know wtf it was :p

It was actually Darren (Hanky) that found it...

Props to the hanky man!!!!!!!!

Too bad he didn't have the money to buy my gen 1.

Glad the issue got worked out! I had not done anything with the car except the tune since i bought it. Its really great to see it go to such a good home!

The car is almost back to 100%.... just a few interior parts and a glitch ballast away... and maybe a new headlight.

Some pictures for your enjoyment... We installed 4.10 gears, a 93 drive shaft, and a Walbro 255 fuel pump.
