THIS IS THE ACTUAL FORD OEM PROGRAM FOR 97!! INCLUDING THE MARK!!
just click this link and download. sorry the download site is cheesie, if someone knows of another free file sharing site id be happy to change it. just remember this is a zipped folder, unzip then you will have the ISO. you can run it with a virtual drive or you can burn it. when you burn this, please make sure you name the disc 97CAR18 it has to be named that or it wont work. ENJOY!!!

This was posted in the mod section last year. Was a great thing to have and thank you for posting it now. I forgot who posted it before and when my system crashed I lost it and my CD backup was scratched. I needed to download it again and will try right now.
IDK if I have any blank CDs though so may not be able to try it out again right away.
 
Looks like its downloading now. Will let ya know in a couple hours. Gonna let it do its thing while I go watch Top Gear and maybe fly one of my helicopters around before it gets darker.
 
It downloaded and I burned it to disc and named it the right name but Windows dont recognize how to open the file. I forgot what I did last time or if it was just that Vista knew what to do and this ancient XP has no clue.

Meh.
 
Yup. Windows dont know what it should use to open the iso file with.
 
Cool beans! Thanks Moes. Wouldnt do it as a standard burn but the virtual drive works perfect!
Great timing too as now it will be easier to get all the TQ specs for the motor install. :D

The ones I have seen have been from 93-94 and 97. There used to be a site that had all of these CD's but it was taken down, so I don't know if there ever was one for the 96 or not.
 
I have Vista-64 bit. I burned it to a disc but it gave me an error message that says, "The version of the file is not compatible with the version of Windows you are using." Guess I'm out of luck.
 
It only works on 32bit os's as it's a 16bit installer/program, it will work in a virtual os though...

You need to compress it and then upload the .zip. I custom made mine to just under the upload limit. I believe I used 7Zip.
