I was just watching Gears and saw this product, after having to fix 4 broken vacuum lines on the Mark 8 last week and dealing with the problems with the lines in my Firebird im going to try this in a few weeks. Its not the cheapest but im planning on using it on the Mark 8, my soon to be 4.6 DOHC swapped 95 Mustang and the 68 Mustang. Check it out.

Looks like a neat and cool option, but I'd wonder how long it would last under the hood (mainly the elbows, t's etc.) Aftermarket plastic doesn't seem to last near a long with the heat I've noticed, though getting the silicone hose would be nice...

Im not sure, i like the idea of quick disconnects though. 200.00 and ill have enough of it to do close to 3 cars. Im mainly wanting to do this for my 68 Mustang.

It would look great on an older car like that for sure, or any car really, I'd just worry 'bout the plastic:)
How often do you disconnect the lines, just buy some silcone hose to dress it up?

looks like a nice solution. I'd buy a kit, probably not in any wild colors though. Decent pricing too.

I would rather just keep spare hose line on hand. I like the small almost unnoticeable stock vacuum lines. I hate huge/in your face dressings for something so minor. Like when people cover every sire with that plastic flex shielding.

I'd be interested in seeing a gen 1 with all those lines replaced. I'm curious how cluttered it would look unless you redesign the whole thing.

Personally think they will look better than the nasty looking lines under the Marks hood. I might be wrong but there 3mm hose is the same size as whats under there now.

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but searching for info on vacuum lines led me to it. I need basically all vacuum lines for a 97/98 (93 engine/98 intake) Mark engine for my swap.

Anyone end up trying these yet? Or have any idea where to find the stock lines for a decent price?

Thanks

Then if I were you, I would post a thread in the For Sale and WTB forum, someone may have them laying around to sale to you.

just the stock lines. the only one i have thats any good is the pcv valve line. But yeah, i need the y line and whatever else. Not using EGR, though, if that makes a difference.
