on my car now, i got the stock 16'' 20 spokes with vogues. im pretty sure the vogues on the car are 225/60/16. I'm looking at getting regular black wall tires (link below)

My question is, with those tires in that size 225/50/16, will the car sit a bit lower or higher? I'm a space cadet when it comes to how the car's height will increase or decrease based on a tire size. If it lowers it a bit i would actually prefer that, and will that size fit fine on these stock 16s?

thanks man, and mike it'll be an inch lower even though i still have the air ride suspension? i'll be real happy if it'll be about an inch lower with the air ride. its always in "4x4 mode", i never tried to sensor lower it lol

yup cuz tire is smaller over all plus ypu could sesor lower it

well let me refraise that. ground clearance will be lower but wheel to to fender lip will not, it would actually be bigger

If I'm understanding the question correctly, yes, 225-60-16 is the stock tire size for the Mark VIII, so unless you have a different size than that already on the car, going back to 225-60-16 will be the same height.

heres how it works you got 225/50/16 the 225 stands for the width of the tire in mm 22.5 cm. the 50 stands for the sidewall, 50 would be the percent of the width, so you have 11.25cm tall sidewalls, and lets be honest, if you don't know what the 16 are for go somewhere to have them put on...
